Dawson targets maximum points

Kieron Dawson

Kieron Dawson

Worthing Raiders Rugby Club coach Kieron Dawson wants a 10-point return from his side’s two upcoming home games.

Raiders remain top of National 2 South after a 38-17 win at Canterbury on Saturday when they touched down six tries.

They host Lydney on Saturday (2pm), before entertaining Chinnor on January 26 and Dawson said: “They’re two home games against teams we should beat.

“I think games in this division will go to form in the next couple of weeks, so all we can do is try to get the win and score four tries for the bonus point.

“We had a very tough game at Lydney earlier in the season when we were lucky to win but they’re a different side away from home.”

See page 98 for a report from Saturday’s win at Canterbury.
