TWO gag-a-thon events will be staged in Worthing to raise money for Comic Relief.
During the comedy-themed nights, up to 20 stand-up comedians will perform a two-and-a-half-minute set, attempting to tell as many jokes as they can before passing immediately on to the next act.
The gag-a-thons will take place at Tangerine Bar in Marine Parade on Wednesday, March 2, and at Worthing Leisure Centre, Shaftesbury Avenue, on March 17.
Both evenings start at 8pm. Entrance is free, but donations are welcome.
Organiser Tom Harris said: “Not only are the evenings in aid of charity, with all money raised going to Comic Relief, they will also be a fantastic opportunity to see some of the best new comic talent from around the south east, most notably the recent YouTube sensation Matt Whistler, star of the Bird is the Word video.”
