Ex-Albion players to charity match in Worthing

A CHARITY football match will raise money for a hospital’s oncology ward.

On Sunday (May 20), the FSID All Stars will take on ex-players from Brighton and Hove Albion at Worthing Football Club’s home ground, Woodside Road, in Worthing.

All the money raised at the game, which kicks off at 3pm, will go to the oncology unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

The event has been organised by Nigel Abbott, who has organised charity matches in previous years in aid of FSID – The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths.

At the event, there will be an auction, and one of the top lots people can bid for is a Bowers and Wilkins Zepplin Air system.

There will also be face painting and a bouncy castle for children.

Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for children.
