SHOW: Glendale Theatre Art’s School stages charity night

GLENDALE Theatre Art’s School will be hosting an evening of award-wining dances and musical theatre on Saturday (September 29) night.

Featuring a large cast of pupils, there will be a variety of song and dance with extracts and adaptations from popular musicals and dance pieces.

Glendale students have won gold medals at the All England National Championships and The Dance World Cup 2011 and 2012.

Pupils have appeared in many smash-hit musicals in the West End, including Billy Elliot, Lord of the Rings, Sister Act and, more recently, Wicked.

The concert is being held at Lancing Parish Hall in aid of the Charity the Halkidiki Animal Rescue in Greece.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 7.30pm, are £6, with every penny going to the charity.

Tickets are available from Pearmains Jewellers in Montague Street, Northdale Vets in Victoria Road and Crabtree Lane, The Dancers Attic in Broadwater Street East, Anthony Michael Hair in Goring Road and Glendale Theatre Arts School in Penfold Road.
