If elected, the Labour Party candidates in Worthing would seek to provide services which benefit all the citizens of our lovely town.
We would seek to resolve a number of issues in the town including the future of Teville Gate and the Aquarena.

Both these projects have been in the planning stage for many years and urgently require resolution.

We support the rebuilding of the Aquarena as close to the present site as possible.

It is time the rebuilding began.

We would seek to ensure that the present facilities including an outdoor paddling pool and Denton Gardens are retained.

We are concerned about the amalgamation of the workforces in Worthing borough and Adur district councils, which is taking place now.

We will work to ensure that we pick the best service-levels from both Worthing and Adur, not the lowest common denominator.

We support the South Downs National Park, including the Wealden area.

This is a vital resource for all of us in Worthing.

We believe that control of parking should be returned to the borough council.

Prices have risen astronomically and evening parking charges mean that cars are parked by the roadside instead of in the car parks, which makes it more dangerous for everyone.

We oppose developments on East Worthing foreshore.
