IN response to the article about the Fiat Multipla car stolen from Camelia Botnar Centre.
I bet the youths who stole the car, and their friends, are mighty happy knowing they can steal cars, get caught by the police, and then get away with the crime with no penalties whatsoever.

Surely there are laws in place that would apply to situat
ions such as this, for example, innocent person buys something, turns out to be stolen, gets taken to court and charged with receiving stolen goods.

Kids in stolen car, no-one owns up to driving or can be identified as driver, but they're still in a stolen car – one has to ask the question, why?

Perhaps they weren't an easy target for the police, you know the sort – law-abiding citizens.

Tarring,

The British National Party 19/07/2008 16:13:50
The BNP will crack down on crime and restore public safety and confidence. We will free the police and courts from the politically correct straitjacket that is stopping them from doing their job properly. The liberal fixation with the ‘rights’ of criminals must be replaced by concern for the rights of victims, and the right of innocent people not to become victims. We support the re-introduction of corporal punishment for petty criminals and vandals, and the restoration of capital punishment for paedophiles, terrorists and murderers as an option for judges in cases where their guilt is proven beyond dispute, as by DNA evidence or being caught red-handed.
