ON Saturday afternoon I was fortunate enough to be involved with the Guild Care 75th anniversary concert, and it was fantastic.
I work as a volunteer receptionist at Methold House, and have seen for myself what a wonderful job they do.

The commitment and dedication of the staff is admirable, they provide a whole range of services and activities for the elderly and younger people.

The concert made me realise we are lucky to have so many caring people in our community.

The choirs sang their hearts out, with the "Rattle 'n' Roll" singers bringing a tear to many an eye.

"Diddy" David Hamilton relayed a brief history of Guild Care and then we all had tea and celebration cake.

So many people had worked so hard to make this a very special occasion, and special it was.

Thank-you so much.
