I HAVE read the letters published recently about the state of Durrington Cemetery, and it has prompted me to write also.
My husband and his mother are buried in Section 20, which is now very overgrown with holly trees and conifer trees, which makes it almost impossible to do anything at the grave.
This section is also being overtaken by blackberry bushes growing fro
m some of the graves, as well as ivy.
It is absolutely disgusting and very disheartening when I visit my late family.
Are we meant to cut these trees back ourselves, or do we just have to put up with this?
Why is this cemetery so badly maintained?
It really upsets me to see this as we pay a lot of money for burial plots.
