READERS have complained about the disgusting state of the old boating pool behind the Aquarena.
One thing that has not been mentioned is the safety issue.
For some months now the fencing surrounding the old pool has been vandalised to a point where it no longer offers any protection to the public.
Any child wandering into this unguarded area could easily stumble over the edge, resulting in what could be a very serious accident.
