HAVING read Mr Mullins' diatribe on the state of Worthing I feel that he has two alternatives.
The first is to move to Brighton, a town which he seems to prefer, and the second is to take action to change Worthing either by joining an existing political party or establishing a new one devoted to his ambitions for the town.

Either of the la
tter courses of action would then give him a chance of being elected to the council, where he could try to make a difference.

I, for one, hope that he is not successful.

Worthing has a lot going for it and it does seem to bring out the best in many young people as your own note to Mrs Godfrey's letter in the same edition shows – "young people doing positive, praiseworthy things far outweigh the activities of yobs and vandals".
