DON'T get me wrong, I enjoy a KFC occasionally, but the arrival of the fast food shop in Goring on Friday was accompanied by the usual problems.
The problem is not KFC but the minority of slobs that use it.

I walked through from Compton Road through to the shop on Saturday morning and counted at least eight piles of assorted litter, all from KFC, the worst of which was deposited in the small planted area outside the Mulberry car park.

It's obvious that the "customers" eat on the hoof and if there isn't a bin within two feet of where they finish their meal it just gets thrown on the ground.

KFC have done their bit by putting a large bin just outside their premises and there are at least three other bins within site of the shop.

So what is the answer? I cannot fathom any way around it, apart from having bins every 10 yards in every direction from the shop.

But the obvious answer is for everyone that uses the shop to TAKE THEIR LITTER HOME. And getting that message across to the moronic slobs who drop litter is, of course, impossible.
