WE would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people of Worthing who have knocked on our door, approached us in the street, and even posted letters through our door in support of the article in the Herald dated June 26, (It's backs to the wall in garden row).

We have received so many good wishes and positive comments about the work carried out with all in agreement that it is a huge improvement to the entrance of Parklands Avenue and sympathetically done.

We have also had a lot of suggestions that we run a petition that we can use when we appeal the planning refusal, therefore, we would be grateful if our supporters would help us by logging onto savemyfence.co.uk and making their support known!

Many thanks again to those of you out there who have urged us to "stick to our guns"!

Mr & Mrs Adams
Parklands Avenue
Goring-by-Sea
