I wish to comment on the postcard-size corner spot given to the Hill Barn Ladies Golf Club who, on June 21, rose at 3am to spend 15 foot-blistering leg-aching hours playing non-stop golf in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Surely a little more space could have been given in appreciation of the tremendous effort put in by these ladies.

A photograph of all taking part would have been appropriate.

I'm sure they didn't expect to occupy the centrefold of the Worthing Herald, just a spot where they would have been noticed.

However, I, and lots of people like me, want to say a big thank-you to all those who took part.

We are grateful for your efforts.

Keep up the good work, Ladies.
