WITH reference to Mr Haines' letter Thursday, July 10, Worthing Herald, I totally agree with what he said about people entering the hospital and walking past the dispensers with the hand wash foam.
I recently had to attend Worthing Hospital, and on all the occasions I went I noticed not only the general public, but porters and medical staff walking straight past and ignoring the signs to wash hands.

There is quite a bit of publicity telling
people about the hospital bugs, so why is a simple job of using the wash totally ignored?

I think that all nurses leaving the hospital after their shifts should leave behind their staff uniforms.

Germs can be transferred into the wards from their uniforms, which have been worn away from the hospital while shopping in supermarkets, etc.
