I WAS incensed to see the lame reply from Councillor Bryan Turner regarding the on- going ridiculous NCP parking charge fiasco.
He justly blames the LibDems for negotiating this dreadful, town- destroying contract, but where were the Conservative members of the council, shouting from the roof tops to stop its introduction?

He then goes on to boast that he and other counci
l officers have regular meetings with NCP and have in some way helped to hold down the charges since 2006.

If, as the Worthing Herald has exposed, we currently have the shameful title of the highest parking charges in Sussex, it begs the question, as to how much over the odds were we paying in 2006?

One of your Herald readers asked last week where the £10 million pounds that NCP paid for the lucrative contract went; an answer would be nice.
