IF drivers feel they must park illegally then I can solve not only their problem but also Worthing's larger parking problem.
The answer is Bath Place, Worthing.

Between the hours of 10am and 4pm this is a pedestrianised zone.

Access to it is via the pier end of South Street, but during these times it is no-entry to all but buses and taxis.

On several occasions b
etween these hours, any parking space is filled with vehicles.

Indeed, on one occasion recently I saw two wardens passing by the top end of Bath Place at 11am and ignoring the lot of them.

Two other parking recommendations are:

1. Top of Heene Road at the junction of Tarring Road .

2. South Street, Tarring, from the post office to the car showrooms.

At both these places drivers park their vehicles for extended periods on the pavements and the wardens do nothing to stop them.

Also, the police do nothing about it.

Access for pedestrians is limited and often they have to use the road.

So there you have it – an end to the town's parking problems.

Park in Bath Place and on any pavement.

Oh yes, it's FREE!

What a great story. Why not print this for everyone to see, then wait for all the complaints to come in when people start to receive tickets.
This area is for pedestrians, therefore vehicles must have commited a moving traffic offence (which the Police can enforce) to even get to the position where they have parked.
I know for fact that due to an issue with the signage NCP Services have not been able to enforce, but the new signage is on its way, so I strongly recommend that readers do not take the advice given above as they will fall foul.

The pepole who park on the pavement out side of them shop are allowed to park there. The shop owns the space out side there shop.
