I WAS amazed to read the story in today's Worthing Herald regarding the gentleman who was threatened with arrest by a number of police officers for attempting to take a picture of his partner standing in front of Worthing Police Station, as I this week visited the Sussex Police website on which there is a lovely clear picture of the Chatsworth Road police station.

If it is an offence to contemplate taking a photo of Worthing police station as such a photo maybe of potential use to terrorists, then are not Sussex Police aiding and abetting terrorists and assisting in their own demise by posting such a photo on their own website?

Once again the forces of law and order have underestimated their opponents who surely have access to the internet and instead chosen to harass the general public whose support and assistance they must surely rely upon if terrorism in all its forms is ever to be defeated.
