I HAVE been reading the recent letters regarding the swimming pool in Worthing.
Come on Worthing Council, let's get into the 21st century, and put the swimming pool at the leisure centre, where all activities can be used under one roof.

(They may even retrieve some members from David Lloyd, who has the ideal leisure centre).

However, the leisure centre would need also to be brought into the 21st century.

Whilst in Cornwall recently, the town I was staying in had the perfect leisure centre (gym, pools, sauna, steam room, and refreshment facilities), all for a resonable fee.

So why, oh why, are Worthing council dithering about the pool site?

The seafront site as is, could then be sold for development, and the money used to bring the Durrington site right up to date.
