IT is time that our county and borough councils should be looking in a more serious way at our pathways and roads.
Outside our houses, there are weeds across the path, quite high in some places.

This is mainly due to grass cutters blowing the loose cuttings back on to the green they have just cut, and with the winds that we all have, it blows back across our
paths and gardens, leaving them in a bad state.

The highway authority should be more responsible for clearing all loose growing weeds around Goring Green, as it is unsightly and dangerous when wet, to people using our pathway, to and from the shops and our station.

Using teams of men is a good way of getting the job done.

How about young offenders against public property being made to do this weed clearing under supervision, without payment?
