IT is pleasing to know that Mr Offen's daughter understands and accepts the concept of personal responsibility (letters, last week).
However, if he found the little girl lying injured at the base of the wall, would he take the same philosophical view or, as so often happens nowadays, immediately look around for someone to blame and, of course, sue for damages?
