KYLE BOWES prevented The cricketers repeating their Worthing Evening League and Cup double at the Manor Ground.
He bowled the last over of the champions' and holders' reply to Worthing's 152 for five in the Cup Final.
Grant Christie and Gary Botting needed only three wins to win with three wickets in hand but Bowes - who needed, therefore, to take no wickets - ensured they got only two, the scores finished level and Worthing won on fewer wickets lost.
After the accurate Aussie hit the stumps of Christie and Bob Reynolds as they swung at the final two deliveries of the Final, The Cricketers had lost nine wickets.
Bowes' figures of four for 21, the best on the night, plus his unbeaten 32 with the bat, ensured he will go away from his two-year stay with Worthing with some silverware.
