GOLF: Allen Cane qualifies for Volvo Masters UK Final

WORTHING Golf Club's Allen Cane has qualified for the Volvo Masters UK Final this weekend at Celtic Manor.
Cane has had a great season on the Amateur Tour, with two wins and five top-10 finishes. He has qualified for the UK Final by finishing fourth on the order of merit, and was just four points away from winning the title.

The final will be held ove
r two days on the Twenty-Ten course, which is where the Ryder Cup will be hosted in 2010. In the competition are 44 players, who have qualified across the UK, and they are all fighting for six places for the World Final in Valderrema, Spain.
