WORTHING Raiders will begin life in National League rugby on September 6.
They will be away to Lydney, then at home to Rugby Lions on September 13. Then come a trip to London Scottish and a home match against Henley Hawks on September 20 and 27. Director of rugby Ian Davies admitted it is a tough start but an exciting one.

Raiders join National 3 for the first time after winning their play-off at home to Bracknell 18-5. They will upwardly accompany Richmond, the London 1 champions, and Chinnor, the South West 1 winners.

Ealing, who pipped Worthing last season to the play-off spot, and won their play-off to go up with London Scottish, were cheering for Raiders to beat Bracknell.
