A MAN is believed to have hanged himself in the Aquarena car park.
Police were called by a member of the public who spotted a man hanging in the entrance to the car park at 6.16am.

The car park was sealed off while police began investigating the scene.

A spokesman said the death was not thought to be suspicious.

An eyewitness described seeing the covered body laying in the entrance to the car park nearest the sea at around 8.30am today (Thursday, July 2).

She said police had cordoned off the area and an officer was standing guard.

She added: "The body is laying there on the ground. The police have got it all cordoned off but the body is just laying there covered up in the entrance near the sea."
