A MAN has been arrested in Worthing suspected of a murder this morning in Brighton.
Police and ambulance crews were called to an address in Elm Grove, Brighton, just after 10am (February 15) following a report that a man had been stabbed.

On arrival, they discovered the man – thought to be in his 40s – in the communal hallway of a residential property.

He was unconscious and, despite the effort of paramedics at the scene, he died shortly afterwards.

One man was arrested at the scene and a second man, aged 41 and from Brighton, was arrested shortly afterwards in Worthing, both on suspicion of murder. They are currently in police custody and will be interviewed in due course.

Detectives from Sussex Police's Major Crime Branch, led by DCI Trevor Bowles, are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish what happened and the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
