THIS is what Worthing's new-look Splash Point could become after a £500,000 scheme to regenerate the area.
The borough council, in conjunction with Roffey Homes and Lizard Landscape Design, have drafted proposals to install the £70,000 artwork Suncloud into a new public space on the seafront.

Plans are being displayed throughout the summer on hoardings outside the former Eardley Hotel.

Residents' views are invited on the scheme, which will be the town Masterplan's gateway into the Active Beach Zone.

Comments can be made on Worthing Regeneration website www.worthingregeneration.com or at one of the following manned exhibitions:

  • Wednesday and Thursday, August 13 and 14, Portland House, Richmond Road, 10am-3pm.

  • Sunday, September 14, mobile information unit, Tourist Information office, 10am-3pm.

Alternatively, comments can be sent to: Worthing Regeneration Programme Team, Worthing Borough Council, Portland House, Richmond Road, Worthing, BN11 1LF.
