Man armed with meat cleaver arrested in Durrington

A MAN seen brandishing a meat cleaver was arrested by police.
Officers were called to Bourne Close, Durrington, at 10.45am on Friday, to reports of a man seen waving the weapon out of a window.

Once on the scene, they found bailiffs trying to repossess the man's house.

The 35-year-old man was arrested for affray.

He has since been released on bail, but is still said to be helping police with their enquiries.
