Worthing couple arrested following World Cup ticket investigation

A man and woman from Worthing were arrested by detectives from Brighton CID yesterday (Sunday, May 23) in relation to the ongoing investigation into a company called BYT World Cup 2010.
The couple, who are both aged 45, were arrested on suspicion of fraud and interviewed by officers. They have now been released on police bail until July pending further enquiries.

BYT World Cup 2010 sold package trips including travel, accomodation and match tickets for the World Cup finals in South Africa.

Anyone who has information about the company are asked to contact Detective Sergeant David Osland at Brighton CID on 0845 60 70 999 ext 50209, quoting serial 701 of 20 May.
