The nine-year-old boy was in collision with a vehicle in Mulberry Lane at 7.20am on Friday, March 14.
He suffered leg injuries and was taken by ambulance to Worthing Hospital.

Cars hit same treeTWO cars crashed into the same tree within an hour in separate accidents in Clapham.
The crashes happened on Long Furlong on Sunday, March 16.
The first crash led to the road being closed.
The driver was cut free and taken to hospital.
An eyewitness said nobody was injured in the second crash, after which police spoke to the driver, a woman in her late teens, driving a Renault Clio.
