Taking part are Rhianna Wass, Kathryn Best, Victoria Waldron, Patryk Fingas, Della Clarke, Nicola Brewerton, Sonia Srebric, Circe Gomez Oliveros, Ella Wenzel and Jennifer Rogers.

The original degree show at the West Durrington campus in June was cancelled because of the global pandemic. However the show went online to become the college’s first-ever virtual exhibition. Now that lockdown measures have been eased, the ten newly-graduated artists are delighted to exhibit for real their high-quality artwork.

Kathryn Best said: “The main objective of this exhibition is to give us students a final chance to display the art we’ve worked so hard to produce over lockdown. Because of the pandemic, this graduating year haven’t been able to display our final pieces of work in what would have been an amazing degree show on the college campus. The degree show is something that we work hard towards and is a big goal for everyone in all three years of study. As you can imagine, not being able to have this show was incredibly disappointing. So a small group of us have put together the Not the Degree Show as a substitute for this. This small group of ten students have used work made in challenging times during the peak of the lockdown, and so each piece is so different to the other. A variety of practices, themes and mediums makes it a super diverse and interesting show to have a really good look at.”
