ARUNDEL: top duo at club

Spokesman Chris Davis said: “One of the UK’s most popular acoustic duos, Dave & Boo first began performing together in the late 1970s, focussing first of all on electric music. Dave had previously gained considerable acclaim on the UK folk circuit for his talents as an acoustic guitarist, acclaim that led to appearances at some of the top London venues and TV appearances on shows like The Old Grey Whistle Test.

“In the 1990s, Dave & Boo fell back in love with the rich, earthy qualities of acoustic music and began taking the folk and acoustic circuit by storm with their eclectic and original mixture of folk, blues and many other genres.

“Fast forward to the present day and these two are still as successful and sought-after as ever, with several albums under their belt and an ever-growing string of acclaimed performances at clubs and festivals.

“Dave & Boo appeared last year as two thirds of the Liz Simcock Trio and now return to the Willows for a duo appearance in their own right, promising a memorable evening for everyone who loves great acoustic music.”
