The exhibition is in association with Community First and the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

Artistic director from the Worthing WOW (the non-profit organisation behind the exhibition) Melody Bridges said the idea, with associated activities, was to give visitors the opportunity to experience the town as Austen herself would have done, atop a horse-drawn carriage.
