Spokeswoman Anna Burtt said: “This will be an opportunity to meet publishers and authors, and to ask the questions about publishing that are so often ambiguous and misleading.

This is the perfect event for aspiring authors, and people interested in finding an agent, getting a traditional publishing deal, or self-publishing their work. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and talk more about your work.

“Tickets include an advanced copy of A Simple Guide to Self-Publishing by RedDoor founder, Clare Christian and can be purchased from www.chichestertickets.co.uk.”

Saturday, July 9, 6pm. SELF-PUBLISHING: DEBUNKING THE MYTHS, REDDOOR PUBLISHING, OXMARKET CENTRE OF ARTS, ST ANDREWS COURT, CHICHESTER, PO19 1YH. Tickets £12; seniors £8; students £8. Disabled access.
