Spokesman George Wilde said: “The eagerly-awaited series invites passengers of all ages to pull up, sit back and enjoy blockbuster movies, games hosted by Suzuki, comedy and music as well as delicious Americana-themed food, drink and treats served up car-side by delivery app Just Eat from TGI Friday's and Ben & Jerry's. All entertainment will be beamed straight into guests’ car radios – with safe social-distancing practices in place – to provide a much-needed escape for those missing outdoors entertainment.

“Not just a trip out to the movies, Suzuki presents @TheDriveIn will offer the ultimate entertainment experience for the socially distant era, as passengers enjoy a programme of interactive games, comedy and food & drink delivery at the touch of a button.

“Each location will feature screenings played out on a top-of-the-range LED screen with audio played directly into car radios. Movies are a selection of retro classics and critically-acclaimed hits for all ages including Grease, Back To The Future, Joker, A Star Is Born, Toy Story and Lion King.

“A number of interactive games will have audiences dancing and honking their horns as Suzuki hosts Lucky Licence Plates, a car-themed take on bingo with prizes to be won; Suzuki Dance Cam which encourages passengers to bust a move on screen; and Suzuki Says, which sees drivers reaching in unison for the hazards, full beam, wipers and culminating in a wave of headlights.

“Suzuki presents @TheDriveIn have joined forces with the award-winning stand-up comedy production Jericho Comedy to enlist the very best comedians for each stop of the summer tour.

“Just Eat, @TheDriveIn’s official food delivery app partner, will be delivering Drive-In dining joy by helping guests to order Americana-inspired food from TGI Friday’s and Ben & Jerry’s. Meals will be delivered straight to guests’ cars by the Just Eat delivery team as they sit back and enjoy the film.
