FILM: I, Anna (15)

Based on the novel by Elsa Lewin, Barnaby Southcombe’s psychological thriller centres on Anna Welles (Charlotte Rampling), an emotionally fragile creature who lives in a cramped flat with her daughter and granddaughter.

Anna suffers from amnesia as a result of a traumatic incident buried deep in her subconscious.

She crosses paths with DCI Bernie Reid (Gabriel Byrne) at the scene of a brutal murder and instantly catches the eye of the cop, who is an insomniac in the throes of an acrimonious divorce.
