FILM: Kylie 3D: Aphrodite les folies
Earlier this year, Kylie Minogue embarked on the UK leg of her sell-out Les Folies Tour, dazzling fans with an outrageous and lavish stage spectacular to celebrate the release of her latest album, Aphrodite.
As usual, creative director and close friend William Baker worked his magic, creating gargantuan sets to evoke the majesty of ancient Greece and its scantily clad denizens. For one night only, audiences who weren’t able to get tickets to the tour can enjoy the entire concert thanks to screenings of this 3D film shot live in April at the O2 Arena in London, which culminates in a breathtaking encore medley set to cascading water fountains.
