Hastings Writers' Group - August 1

THE group recently got the good news that their charity anthology 'Diamonds - A Collection of Childhood Memories' has been added to the national RNIB Talking Books library.

'We're thrilled that RNIB selected 'Diamonds' to record as a talking book. It's great that many blind and partially-sighted people across the country will now have the opportunity to enjoy our memories,' said Rosemary Bartholomew, Diamonds Co-ordinator. 'As writers, we're keen to support the 'Right to Read' campaign and help visually impaired people enjoy books the same as everyone else.

Through Diamonds, we are also able to sponsor a children's talking book - Kate O'Hearn's fantasy adventure 'Shadow of the Dragon Part One: Kira -' which will be available next year.'
