HISTORY: Chris Hare to speak at Shoreham Society meeting
HISTORIAN Chris Hare will speak at this month’s meeting of the Shoreham Society.
Mr Hare, who has published several local history books, will address the group at St Peter’s Hall, in West Street, Shoreham, from 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday, June 19).
Entitled Cemetery Surprises, his talk promises to reveal secrets from Broadwater Cemetery, mixed with Shoreham references and some of the strange burial customs of the past.
The bar will be open and refreshments will be available.
Anyone is welcome to attend. Admission is £3.
