LIVE MUSIC: Livewire/DC and Limehouse Lizzy at Worthing Assembly hall

THE UK’s leading rock show in honour of the music of Thin Lizzy and AC/DC will visit Worthing’s Assembly Hall on Friday, October 29 at 8pm.

Livewire/DC and Limehouse Lizzy have created For Those About To Rock, a combined show in honour of the two bands.

Livewire/DC celebrate both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras of the band and present a full AC/DC-style show with the cannons, walkways, backdrops and drapes similar to those used in the original band’s gigs.

Jon Belford portrays the original front man, Bon Scott, whose was replaced by Brian Johnson in 1980 after his death.

Pete Eccles plays Brian in the unmistakable flat cap and includes tracks from AC/DC’s most recent

album, Black Ice.

The frenzied schoolboy antics of Angus Young on lead guitar are reproduced by Lorne Shippen, dressed in Angus’s signature school uniform as he duck-walks his way through the most famous songs including classics such as Whole Lotta Rosie, Highway To Hell, Thunderstruck and Back In Black.

Limehouse Lizzy will also be filling the stage with their pyrotechnicfuelled set in celebration of Thin Lizzy.
