Travel and weather update

Commuters have been warned to take care on the roads due to rain in parts of West Sussex this morning (Monday July 13).

The wet weather should clear up this morning, but dark clouds are likely to remain all day, according to the Met Office.

There are several reports of heavy traffic on the A24 northbound near Horsham.

There is congestion between Hop Oast Park And Ride Roundabout and Broadbridge Heath Roundabout, the Great Daux Roundabout near Warnham, the Washington bypass at Washington roundabout, and in West Grinstead at Buckbarn Crossroads.

There is also heavy traffic on the A2219 Pegler Way in Crawley in both directions around Asda, and on the A22 Station Road in East Grinstead in both directions between the Park Road junction and the A264 Copthorne Road junction.
