Treasure Island on screen

The National Theatre’s production of Treasure Island washes up as a live screening in a raft of cinemas across the area on January 22.

It will be broadcast from the Olivier Theatre to cinemas including Chichester Cinema at New Park; Chichester Cineworld; Picturedrome Cinema, Bognor Regis; Windmill Cinema, Littlehampton; Port Solent Odeon; Portsmouth Vue; Ritz Digital and Connaught Cinema, Worthing; and the Dome Cinema, Worthing.

Robert Louis Stevenson’s story of murder, money and mutiny comes in a new adaptation by Bryony Lavery whose The Hundred and One Dalmatians was staged by Chichester Festival Youth Theatre at Christmas.

Treasure Island is playing in the Olivier Theatre until April 8 and is suitable for ten years and up.
