VIDEO: Mid Sussex 2nds beat Worthing seconds in relegation dogfight

Mid Sussex 2s 3-2 Worthing 2s: Mid Sussex 2s took on Worthing 2s in the Sussex Division 1 2013/14 relegation dogfight.

Mid Sussex needed to win the game to maintain any chances of survival. The team started off well, with Prior scoring from a short corner. Worthing equalized from a short corner drag flick.

In the second half Worthing continued to put pressure on, and soon a hit into the D took an unfortunate deflection off a Mid stick and into the goal.

It looked bad, however a short corner from Fitzpatrick lead to a Manger tapping in to rescue the game.

Later an aerial from Bass lead to a mix up for the Worthing defence and Cocks won the ball and slotted past the keeper to win the game.
