Spokesman Rob O’Riordan said: “To celebrate The BRIT Awards 2017 with Mastercard, the most prestigious event in the British music calendar, Universal Music on Demand released a triple CD compilation album on February 17 featuring the most important tracks of the last year.

“Over three CDs (and available as a 63-track download), The BRIT Awards 2017 album contains the stand-out tracks from the year, including a staggering 10 UK Number 1 singles.

“Like the awards themselves, The BRIT Awards 2017 album reflects all that is popular and credible in music right now. The hit packed collection celebrates the biggest tracks of the year from the best talent in music, including The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Daft Punk, Zara Larsson, Little Mix, Sia, James Arthur, Clean Bandit, and Christine and the Queens along with 2017 Critics’ Choice winner Rag'n'Bone Man and many more.

“The track-list also features 2017 nominees including Emeli Sandé, Ellie Goulding and Lianne La Havas who are in the running for British Female, plus Craig David, David Bowie and Kano, who will battle it out for British Male. The best of the groups also feature, including indie titans The 1975and the triple-nominated Little Mix. Both are sure to bring the house down in spectacular fashion when they perform at the awards on February 22nd.

“From the world conquering grime of Skepta, Kano and Stormzy, to queen of the collaboration Anne-Marie, the album highlights the most exciting UK success stories, alongside the biggest international hits too.

“In fact, the last year in music has been notable for its globe dominating collaborations and The BRIT Awards 2017 album includes 16 of them. From Tinie Tempah and Zara Larsson teaming up for ‘Girls Like’ to Clean Bandit ruling the charts with Sean Paul / Anne-Marie hook-up ‘Rockabye’, it was a year of collaboration gold.”
