Business gurus sought to help West Sussex apprentices

BUSINESS owners with a few hours to spare are being sought to help find the next generation of apprentices in West Sussex.

Young Enterprise is running a series of workshops to help introduce children in the county to the world of work.

Volunteer entrepreneurs and business people are needed to help out with a game during the workshops.

Called Sell for Success, the young people will work in teams to sell a product while being advised by the volunteers.

Skillshare

The project is being promoted on the Skillshare West Sussex website.

The site focuses on short-term volunteering opportunities of between one day and two weeks.

Kate Scales, development manager at Voluntary Action Arun and Chichester, said: “There are a whole host of opportunities available and there really is something to suit everyone, from budding Lord Sugars to gardeners or drivers with a bit of time to spare.
