Fete n Lime opened at The Harbour Club on Shoreham Beach in 2019 and before the lockdown, had not even appeared on TripAdvisor

Anouska Wetton, who runs the international kitchen, said: “Fete n Lime is just two years old - one of those years in a full blown pandemic.

“We have obviously been forced to close on many occasions, like other hospitality, but we took the lockdowns on head first, resulting in us recently reaching number one on TripAdvisor in Shoreham - having never been on TripAdvisor before the pandemic.

“We have also created a food bank initiative, in partnership with The Harbour Club, which helped feed over 60 people, paid for struggling families’ bills, organised furniture for them and also donated 100 Easter eggs to the Gateway Hub.”

The kitchen has been undergoing refurbishment ahead of April 12, when restrictions lift, and then Anouska plans to open Fete n Lime from Friday to Sunday for outdoor dining.

Anouska said: “We will open indoors when allowed to and we will carry on our much successful roast dinner collection and delivery service.”

She thanked everyone who had supported this small local business by ordering throughout the past year of lockdowns, as it had helped to keep it going.
