National retailer to close its Worthing store
A national retailer is preparing to close one of its Worthing stores.
Halfords has shops in Downlands Business Park off the A27 and an autocentre in Broadwater.
The retailer, which specialises in vehicle parts and related equipment, will close its Downlands Business Park store on February 26.
A spokesman for the company said: “As we announced last July, we were always planning to exit a small percentage of our stores and this includes our Worthing retail store.
“We are working hard to support all of those affected and are hopeful of being able to offer those colleagues one of a wide range of new service-orientated roles at alternative locations.”
