The store on Warwick Street was set up by business trio David Fearn, his son Nathan Hyde, and son-in-law Councillor Michael Cloake, after reaching a licensing deal with the main company.

An open evening last night, February 11, allowed members of the community to take a look at what the store has to offer.

“I think it’s been a while since we had a premium outdoors business in the centre, but everyone remembers what it was like,” said Michael, “so that was our interest in the company.

“Our store manager Hannah is now in place as we build the store in our run-up to the opening, and our fantastic new team of staff are being trained up.

“We are very excited about people coming in and experiencing our products.”
