Taking pride in venues

SUSSEX company VIP Venues pride themselves on “transforming venues” for weddings, birthdays and corporate events.

The firm, which also covers Hampshire and Surrey, is sponsoring the hospitality, tourism and leisure award in this year’s Adur and Worthing Business Awards.

When establishing the business in 2006, owner Claire Smith wanted to set-up a business which would inspire her creative side.

She has now been joined by her sister, Suzanne, and together with their team, they offer a complete venue decoration service.

Claire said: “We offer a personal service and work with you and your ideas and requirements to create the perfect design for your event.

“From your first enquiry through to the day of the event itself we give you our individual attention.”

From their studio in Felpham, Claire and her team can meet a client and tailor the service to their specific needs.

They can also meet at the venue to discuss requirements.

Claire said: “We work closely with many local businesses to be able to offer a complete service and package with a few of them, giving a great discount on many of the venue needs for a wedding including the photographer.”

She added: “The team at VIP Venues can completely transform your venue.

Whether it’s for a wedding, birthday party or corporate team building, we can provide everything from chair covers, centre pieces and table decorations, to backdrops, lighting and drapes.

“We can also introduce any theme items to complete the look.”
