AMF Bowling, in Marine Parade, was set to join more than 50 other alleys owned by parent company Hollywood Bowl in reopening tomorrow (August 1).

He said figures from the Office for National Statistics showed there were now 4,900 new infections every day across the UK, an increase of around 50 per cent over the last few weeks.

Mr Johnson said 'we can't afford to ignore this evidence' and announced plans to reopen bowling alleys and begin indoor performances were postponed by at least two weeks.
