Covering the many activities in school and in the community in the first half of the summer term, the video urges the children to stay positive.

Running through it is this message: “It may have been a tough half term but remember we’ve been on TV and BBC radio twice, you’ve made rainbow trails, bear hunts, publicly thanked keyworkers in the press, raised money for the NHS and staff provided PPE while you wrote letters to our older community members and messages of encouragement to year six joining in September.

“You celebrated VE Day and wished Captain Tom a happy 100th birthday. You left thank you messages on your dustbins and helped to create an NHS tribute garden, plus continued your school work with fantastic results.”

The video ends with encouraging words, ‘don’t give up, stay safe, stay positive, and remember you’re the greatest’.
